Our Foil Standards are used to calibrate XRF instruments to measure thin film and coating thickness and composition. Foils are produced using sputtering, electroplating or mechanical rolling methods. They offer the advantages of greater range of applications as well as the ability to add foils together to produce additional thickness and/or multilayer film stacks.
